From a visually flat site to a refined, high-performing online experience, the redesign of Verde Floral Designs brings their artistry to life in a whole new way.
Verde Floral Designs is a full-service studio specializing in European-inspired floral arrangements, fresh daily blooms, residential and corporate subscriptions, sympathy flowers, custom workshops, and breathtaking wedding & event installations. Their previous website was functional but visually flat and didn’t reflect the artistry and emotion behind their work. Our task was to create a modern, elegant online home that matches the beauty of their flowers while driving better engagement and conversions.

1. High-Converting Homepage with Strong Visual Hierarchy
We designed a clean, inviting homepage that immediately captures the essence of Verde. Large-scale photography and strategic sections guide visitors effortlessly through their offerings — from seasonal flowers and plants to subscriptions, sympathy arrangements, workshops, and wedding services. The layout feels warm and intentional, encouraging exploration and action.
2. Beautiful Wedding Florals Showcase
One of the standout features is the expanded wedding section. It now serves as a rich source of inspiration with real wedding photography, showcasing cascading bouquets, lush ceremony arches, romantic centerpieces, and full-scale event designs. Engaged couples can easily visualize their own Cape Cod wedding florals and move seamlessly toward booking a consultation.
3. Seamless Checkout with Orderable Delivery Scheduling
We integrated Orderable Pro to make ordering floral arrangements effortless. Customers can now select their preferred delivery or pickup date and time window directly at checkout — perfect for time-sensitive sympathy orders or weekly subscriptions.
To enhance usability even further, we customized the delivery calendar picker with intuitive color-coding, allowing customers to easily understand available, limited, or unavailable dates at a glance. This visual clarity significantly improves the ordering experience and helps reduce friction during checkout.
4. Stunning Photography Integration
To bring the site to life, we prominently featured the exceptional work of Barbara Zachary Photography LLC of Nantucket. Her artfully timeless images perfectly capture the natural elegance of Verde’s shop, arrangements, and lifestyle elements. The photography adds warmth, authenticity, and a high-end feel throughout the site — especially in the “Experience Verde” / gift shop section.
5. Modern WordPress Foundation Built for Speed and Performance
The site was built on the flexible and design-forward BeTheme WordPress framework, allowing for a highly customized and scalable solution.
Beyond aesthetics, performance was a major focus. We optimized the site to achieve an impressive .92 second load time, ensuring a fast, seamless experience across devices — a critical factor for both user experience and search visibility.
The Outcome
The new website truly reflects the quality and creativity that owner/designer Hira Rafiq and her team bring to every flower arrangement. It’s no longer just an online brochure — it’s a beautiful, high-performing sales tool that helps convert visitors into customers and wedding and event clients.
